FAQs

  • A request for the respective BGC site must be submitted to the organization (CEO) in writing. It must include a list of local committed individuals and/or entities willing to assist with development and execution of plan for a start-up site. Also, it should include a case (reason) for the need of a club site and potential public/private partners in area.

  • Terms are developed by the parties involved; no agreement or MOU is exactly the same. Agreements or MOUs can be developed in accordance with parties involved and purpose; we have utilized them in other communities of service.

  • We are not a recreation organization, however, we do have some recreational activities in some of our programs. It is not our intent to compete with recreation centers or agencies.

  • Any remaining commitments are no longer required

  • BGCNL will oversee all insurance matters to insure membership compliance.

  • The CEO is in charge of day-to-day operations; local board can provide input but will be expected to fundraise and advocate for the local site.

  • Informally, every quarter; Formally, every year (after the annual audit)
