Dr. John Shepard Golf Classic sees record turnout

The 27th Annual Dr. John Shepard Golf Classic turned in its best participation to date with 40 total teams — 20 in the morning flight and 20 in the afternoon flight.

Golfers were treated to a catered lunch by Catfish Cabin, as well as on-course food provided by Louisiana National Bank and Wal-Mart and drinks from Marsala Beverage.

Special thanks to Donald Farms for being our title sponsor and all those who helped make this event such a success.

This premier fundraiser for our Northeast Region was renamed for Dr. Shepard last year after his 30-plus years serving as a board member and as the founder of the Golf Classic. Thanks again to everyone who made this day a tremendous success.
