Club introduces Yard Sign Campaign, urges communities to Pray For Our Schools
The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana is starting a yard sign campaign to urge our communities to pray for our schools as our kids and teachers enter a school year unlike any other.
Our mission at the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana is to provide youth in North Louisiana a safe, supervised environment where they can develop into positive, productive members of society. That desire goes beyond the kids inside our Club houses. We believe children need to be in school, where they can receive a quality education, socially interact with classmates and have access to social services and warm meals.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic leaves all of us with concerns for the safety and health of not only the kids, but teachers and other school personnel as well. These thoughts and feelings prompted the idea to blanket the North Louisiana communities with yards signs that urge and remind everyone to βPray for our Schoolsβ.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana has also reopened its doors to the members that need us most. Although we are at a limited capacity, our hearts are fuller by seeing our members face-to-face and being able to serve them in our afterschool programs.
The donation dollars from this yard sign campaign will help our operating costs that have increased due to the increased safety guidelines. Please consider contributing as we work together to give ALL youth in our area GREAT FUTURES.
