Bobby Parks named Louisiana New Board Member of the Year

  The Boys & Girls Clubs of America recently announced its annual awards at the Triad Area Council for Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. The Louisiana New Board Member of the Year was awarded to our very own Bobby Parks, a member of the Northeast Louisiana Board of Directors.

Although Bobby was on the board several years ago, his return could not have come at a more critical time. When Bobby decided to rejoin the board in December, little did we know that COVID-19 was about to shake up our entire world. With Bobby’s knowledge and expertise, he has become a crucial factor at leading our safety committee. Through his guidance, he also helped our staff navigate how to respond to the pandemic and how to work our way to re-opening.
