Drax Biomass is taking the initiative to help youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana make healthier choices. For the second straight year, Drax is sponsoring the Triple Play Program at the Evergreen Unit in West Monroe, as part of the afterschool curriculum for children ages 6-18.

Triple Play is the first comprehensive health and wellness program from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. It is designed to improve the overall health of members by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutritional habits and helping them develop healthy relationships.

Triple Play covers three main components that are critical in the growth of young people – mind, body and soul. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, children have been out of school and away from normal routine for more than five months. This alone makes the Triple Play program even more critical once children return to the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana.
